Chicago, IL (August 10, 2023) — PFES, a premier provider of strategic consulting services for the energy and utility sectors, announced today that Kaylyn Mickelsen has been promoted to Vice President, Project Controls & Business Intelligence (BI) Services. Previously, Mickelsen served as PFES' Director of Business Intelligence.
In this newly created role, Mickelsen will work with PFES' energy and utility clients, as well as our internal team, to facilitate successful project outcomes through the development and implementation of robust controls processes including risk assessment, strategic planning, project setup, project forecasting, reporting and closeout. Additionally, she will continue helping clients transform their data to make informed business decisions and stay compliant with ever-changing regulatory requirements.

Mickelsen has over 15 years of experience in the utility sector and is a highly skilled and motivated business leader. Prior to joining PFES, she held roles with advancing responsibility in government, commercial nuclear and high-voltage substation, transmission and distribution industries. She's a recognized subject matter expert in software applications such as Primavera P6 and Power BI. She holds a Bachelor’s in Business Management as well as a Master’s in Business Administration. She has also obtained her Planning and Scheduling certification (PSP) from AACE International.
